The DCD240 uses an M14 accessory connector, enabling it to be used with standard mixing paddles, one of which is supplied with the tool. It has an adjustable 5 position speed dial which enables the machine to be run at 300, 450, 550, 650 or 725 RPM. When changing speeds the motor ramps up or down slowly to enable the operator to maintain sufficient control and prevent splashes.
