Thompson & Morgan Sedum Atlantis 9Cm Potted Plant X 5 Yellow/Green

Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis' creates a dazzling display, with yellow blooms and a dense, low growing habit. Superb as ground cover in rockeries and gravel gardens, these pretty plants have excellent drought tolerance and positively thrive in hot sun (although they will happily tolerate partial shade). Awarded RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2019, it’s easy to see why this caught the judges’ eyes! Plants boast fleshy leaves that stay vibrant from summer through to autumn – leaves are moss green with delicately serrated edges and a contrasting creamy-yellow border. Pale-yellow blooms emerge from pink flower buds, while new foliage bursts from cherry-red leaf buds. This is a spreading hardy perennial, which form a broad cushion of colourful foliage with maturity, attracting butterflies and other pollinating insects to its flowers.Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non-acidicic soil that has been enriched with well-rotted manure or garden compost. When growing sedum, water regularly during particularly hot dry periods until the plants are fully established. Cut back the old stems and foliage of spreading stonecrop plants after flowering to maintain their shape. Sedum is drought tolerant once fully established. Caution: All parts are harmful if eaten.Product specifications:Position: Full Sun, Sun or Semi-ShadeHeight: Up to 15cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 45cm when fully establishedFlowering period: July to SeptemberImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
