Aquaforest CA Plus is an effective water treatment for use in Marine Aquariums where Calcium levels have started to drop. Calcium is an essential chemical inside Marine tanks as it is a vital ingredient to allow the healthy grow of corals. When Calcium levels start to fall so does the ability for these corals to maintain their healthy growth. CA Plus helps to support clarification and provides the corals with all they need to grow healthy. The highly concentrated formula provides an immediate raising of calcium levels when used correctly and begins to work to balance the water parameters. The effectiveness of CA Plus depends on the correct Kh levels in the water, so it is recommended to use alongside KH Plus( See dosage information). Specifications CA Plus 250ml Bottle Dosage 10ml of CA Plus raises the calcium level by 15 mg/l (ppm) in 100L (27G) of water. Maximum daily dose is 20ml CA Plus per 100L (27G) of water. Recommended calcium level in reef aquarium is 380-460/l (ppm). Please ensure your magnesium level is within the recommended range before attempting to raise or adjust your calcium and alkalinity levels. How to use Check your Ca Levels first. Its better for the tank inhabitants to dose the same amount of CA Plus with a couple of smaller doses instead of one big dose. Ensure the interval between doses of calcium and, Magnesium and KH are 5 minutes apart. Dose product to sump, panel or overflow. Do not raise calcium levels by more then 20 ppm/day.
