La Novena ('the ninth') references the ninth parcel of Garnacha that completes the wine. Garnacha plantings in Cariñena are aplenty thanks to the grape's excellent suitability to the region. But however vast these plantings may be, there will always be little pockets with a slightly different microclimate or soil that changes the wine. These pockets, or 'parcels', can be brought in and vinified separately and then put back together based on taste, so you can ensure the wine that ends up in the glass ticks all the boxes. Refunds
