Batman Vol.1 Court Of The Owls DC Comics Graphic Novel Scott Snyder

Following his groundbreaking, critically acclaimed run on Detective Comics, writer Scott Snyder begins a new era of The Dark Knight with artist Greg Capullo and a new beginning for Batman. In this collection of the series’ first six issues, a series of brutal murders rocks not only Gotham City to its core but also the Caped Crusader himself when the prime suspect is one of Batman's closest allies - none other than Dick Grayson. “Snyder crafts the story so that it’s equally surprising for Bruce to discover his shortcomings as it is for the readers, referencing key, highly identifiable moments of Batman’s history to underline his point… Capullo’s work on the series cannot be understated; his dynamic storytelling and penchant for badassery abounds from every page. Capullo deserves much credit for the success of the story’s seamless integration of the Court of Owls. 9/10” - Joey Esposito, IGN
